It’s a three-parter, guys. Watch out!

Other title I was considering:  “A young woman’s strange and erotic journey from Milan to Minsk.” But that’s taken.

As you might know, my job requires me to travel around Canada in the fall and spring. It’s all very exotic and I’m as classy and exuberant as Julia Roberts the entire time. In the spring, it’s a two-week stint to select Canadian cities, and this year they were Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg–the first week in Vancouver and the second week split between Calgary and Winnipeg. I thought it would be fun to share the list of terms typed into search engines that have thus far led to my blog. Mostly because some of them are funny and disturbing, but also because I need to throw some “filler” posts in here and there to prolong the inevitable running out of material (I know “getting out more” would be a logical solution, but who wants to do that?). There’s nothing wrong with filler. Mucking

I recently took a trip to Vancouver and my most favourite part of the trip was visiting the Britannia Mine Museum located at the old Britannia Copper Mine near Squamish, BC. And she’s single! The mine was shut down in the 70’s but has been transformed into an awesome tourist destination (well, if you’re a tourist like me). Also, several episodes of The X-Files were filmed there, so its cool factor is major. Continue reading

Vancouver’s Just Not That Into Me

Disclaimer: Certain content in this post may be a bit dark for some tastes. I’m told my sense of humour can sometimes be a bit “off-side.” You’ve been fairly warned…so just lighten up.

This story, like all love stories (right?), begins with the object of my affection outright dissing and dismissing me. I begged and pleaded, took some beatings, but kept coming back for more because I knew things would change. And they did!
